From the ground up, we have developed a software solution for the Outfitter industry. Design for both Hunting Outfitters and Fishing Lodges, it started small and then quickly grew in scope and features as we took on our first clients. While the idea was in motion in our heads for some time, the development of the OutBookX Outfitter Software quickly took shape.
Our first thought was simply to offer a booking system so that Outfitters would not lose potential Trip bookings during the time lag between clients making a choice of Outfitters and the response. Our solution allows outfitters to post their available dates on their site, using our software integration, and clients to immediately book a Trip. This increases the lead to booking rate for outfitters and offers certainty for the hunters / anglers looking to book their Trip. With the coming on board of our first client, they suggested a number of reporting needs that could be built into the system. These are based on the Client database and the hunt records and will allow them to produce reports, which need to be submitted to government departments, with a couple of button clicks. Plus, we were able to add some custom outputs they currently generate with a stand alone spreadsheet. We have wrapped it into one convenient package.
Like our other industry solution, Rodeo Producer, the more we work with our users, the more opportunities we find to simplify and streamline their operations. What we know for sure is that each new Hunting Outfitter and Fishing Lodge will bring us new ideas that we can add as features to the software.
