We built the Saskatchewan Hockey Arenas Website with the intent to help hockey parents find their way to hockey rinks in unfamiliar locations and unfamiliar towns.  Having personally traveled to many of these hockey arenas ourselves, we know how useful having an online guide could be.  The website is built using a responsive design so that it is useful when searching on your desktop before you leave the house or the office, or on your tablet and mobile phone when you are on your way and need a little more help to the final destination.  Included with each Saskatchewan hockey arena listing is a Google Maps link as well as outside pictures of the arena (where available), to help provide that final visual clue once you get close.  A number of other information items are provides as points of interest such as food services, seating, skate sharpening services, and more.  To increase the social aspects of the site, and to enable sharing of the content, we have added the popular social network sharing buttons plus added a comments section.  To help grow the number of arenas included on the site we have made it possible for users to upload their local arenas, including pictures and descriptive information.
